Need help choosing the right news website CMS India platform?
Represent the visible article accurately
Structured data should describe the same headline, author, publication, image, date, and canonical page that readers see. Do not use markup to claim invisible authorship, misleading dates, unsupported ratings, or content that is not actually present. Consistency is more important than adding every possible property.
Use the right sitemap for the right purpose
A general XML sitemap can cover important canonical URLs across the site. A News sitemap is a focused discovery aid for recent eligible articles and must be maintained according to current search-engine requirements. Neither sitemap repairs blocked pages, redirect chains, duplicate URLs, or weak internal navigation.
Validate templates and monitor production
Test representative article types, then monitor structured-data reports, sitemap processing, canonical selection, and indexing after deployment. Template-level automation reduces inconsistency, but publishers still need operational checks when new formats, authors, or sections are introduced.
